Yes its been a while and I would like to apologise for some what putting the blog on the back burner. Life has gone a little crazy since I last added a blog so let me start by trying to break down some of the big event that have happened.

April- I Accepted the Position of Head PGA Professional @ The Hirsel Gc and set about opening accounts and setting up the shop.
We are now under the buying group Foremost which has been superb and we have also kept the shop consistency in staff with Russell Tait working 2-3days per week still.

May- Busiest ever month getting deliveries every day for the shop while fitting in a very busy teaching and fitting diary, but the long hours were certainly worth it and thank you all for your support.

June and July- very similar patter long hours and busy in the shop and on the practice ground and also delighted to finally get our covered bays on the range finished during this period.

August- What a month!! it started with an invite to play in the EuroPro Event at Close House thanks too Lookers, I played solid all week but my shortgame simply wasn’t good enough and I missed the cut with 76,77.
However it certainly warmed me up for the following week where a -5 total gave me 3rd place and the largest cheque of my professional career at Deer PARK. Sadly due to work commitments and best man duties I’ve been unable to play again since then.

September– This saw me get to see baby Wood for second time during our 20week scan and hopefully see another golfer added to the family.
Also during September along with 4 other PGA Professional we set up Borders Golf Development to help develop and guide young Borders Golfers on the correct path.

Once again sorry for the delay and I promise to update more often.

But for now happy golfing and remember golf is much more fun and enjoyable when your playing well.

Daniel
